Dr. Henthorn received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina. He then attended the University of Texas Health Houston School of Dentistry in Houston where he obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. While there, Dr. Henthorn leveraged the nation’s leading dental school research program to advance his knowledge in CAD/CAM dental technology as well as was awarded for his academic performance and excellence in endodontics and digital restorations.
Dr. Henthorn continues improving himself by learning new techniques through continuing education in general dentistry. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Endodontics, Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the New York Dental Association. With this background, Dr. Henthorn aims to create a welcoming and family-oriented environment for the patients Smile Lab serves to foster lasting bonds and, by extension, better care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tyler enjoys spending time training for IRONMAN triathlons and marathons, reading anything high fantasy, and volunteering for local races in New York, IRONMAN Texas, and even the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

This is my first time here and I had such an amazing experience with my dental hygienist, Elisa, and dentist, Dr. Dimyan! This is probably the first time ever I’ve ever had such detailed explanations of what was going on with my teeth, floss recommendations and clear follow up treatments.
